Registration of the marriage of Stanisław Montwiłł and Aleksandra Dowgiałło (Józef’s parents) in the Lentupis Roman Catholic Church Register.

On 23 November 1839 Fr Wincenty Szawlewicz [Šaulevičius] in Lentupis Church witnessed the marriage of the boyar Stanisław Montwiłł of Rajūnai Manor in the parish of Deltuva, 38 years old, to the gentlewoman Aleksandra Dowgiałło of Romaniškės Manor in the parish of Lentupis, 24 years old.

Groom’s parents – gentlefolk Andrzej and Dorota Muśnicka Montwiłł.

Parents of the bride – gentlefolk Wincenty and Anastazja Juraho Dowgiałło.

Witnesses – the gentlemen Ignacy Swolkień, Andrzej Montwiłł, Ignacy Jazwiński et al.

Montwiłł Family’s Chapel-Mausoleum in Pagiriai Cemetery (Kėdainiai District).

Built by Fr Pietraszko in 1823 (other sources cite 1827), renovated in 1883 by Wincenty Montwiłł. On the chapel wall there is not only the renovation date but also plaques marking the crypt containing family remains and grave stones.
