“In memory of Stanisław Montwiłł of blessed memory, former judge of the Ukmergė Land Court, buried in Šėta churchyard on 23 Oct. 1870. In memoriam from his son”;

“In memory of Józef Montwiłł of blessed memory, born 19 March 1850 at Mitėniškiai, died 7 Feb. 1911 in Vilnius who devoted his life to public works and was buried in Rasos Cemetery in accordance with the wishes of the people of Vilnius. In memoriam from those dear to him”.

Šėta Cemetery Chapel or Wieliczko [Velička] Family Chapel-Mausoleum (Kėdainiai District).

Refined, classical-style chapel founded in 1824 by the manor-owner Stanisław Wieliczko for his wife Bogumiła Rudamina-Wieliczko, who died that year at the very young age of 24 years. The builder of the Šėta chapel, S. Wieliczko died in 1860 at the age of 69 and was buried in Šėta Cemetery too in the Wieliczko family chapel.

Entry of death of Józef’s father, Stanisław Montwiłł in the Šėta Roman Catholic Church parish register:

“Stanisław Montwiłł, gent., died of old age on 24 October 1870 at Mitėniškiai Manor, being 70 years old. He left behind him his widow, Aleksandra Dowgiałło-Montwiłł, his sons Stanisław, Aleksander, Wincenty and Józef, his daughters Kazimiera and Zofia. His remains were buried in Šėta Parish Cemetery on 27 October that same year by Fr Straupas”.
